i know what you're thinking

  Monologue We have almost nothing in common. He's allergic to cats and I hate his favourite foods. But the days we don't talk seem to drag on forever. I drive the kids to school, pick them up from karate and cut up hot dogs to put in their macaroni dinners. I read them bedtime stories and tuck them in.
